About Marguerite
Marguerite…
Marguerite is my artistic name. I chose it for many reasons: Marguerite is part of my name. It is also the name of my great grandmother, a remarkable woman that I adored. The translation of Margaret is Daisy, a flower that represents in my view joy, freshness, and simplicity.
My artistic practice
Painting makes me happy; it is my Zen zone. It is a space where I express myself freely, where I let my creativity and emotions guide what I paint. Painting is an important part of my well-being. Wonders nourish my inspiration. Nature is an inexhaustible source of fascination.
I use different mediums, including acrylic and watercolor. Over the years, I have learned and developed various techniques. I use the techniques that best reflect the message and emotion I want to convey. I also combine different techniques when needed. As an artist living with a disability, accessibility and inclusion are also part of my artistic practice.
